We’re looking for a Development Manager with deep experience in real estate development and construction management. This is a high-impact role responsible for owning projects from pre-construction through ribbon cutting. You’ll work closely with consultants, contractors, and internal teams to deliver best-in-class facilities on time and on budget.

What You’ll Own

·      Site evaluation and pre-development due diligence

·      Entitlement, permitting, and public process navigation

·      Budgeting, scheduling, and GC coordination

·      Design review, bid set quality control, and construction administration

·      Acting as Owner’s Rep on-site—driving accountability and maintaining momentum

·      Managing the transition from construction to operations

·      Upholding Self Storage Plus brand standards across all touchpoints

What You Bring

·      5–7 years of progressive experience in construction and development

·      Strong background in site planning, permitting, and municipal engagement

·      Track record managing construction budgets and schedules with precision

·      Competence in reading and redlining plans, managing consultants, and leading through ambiguity

·      High accountability, critical thinking, and a bias for action

·      Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field
