Job Description: BasTech is a high tech manufacturing company utilizing Additive Manufacturing as well as traditional Manufacturing techniques. BasTech serves various industries with a strong focus on aerospace and defense. Products range from prototypes from our multiple 3D Printing Systems in plastics or metal, to Production tooling and parts in Wax and Plastics. Full-Time Monday-Friday 7:00 A.M.-3:30 P.M. Candidates must be able to work occasional overtime to maintain production CNC Programmer-CAD Designer who wishes to expand their knowledge and capabilities in an Additive Manufacturing environment. Job Duties: Define set-ups and program for CNC machining centers using UG NX and/or MasterCam Work directly with CNC machinist and tool makers as a team to complete new projects Review 3D CAD geometry for machining/printing/quality control Develop 3D CAD geometry based on customer requirements Design fixtures and tooling required for manufacturing Design plastic injection and wax injection molds Generate 2D drawings for customer approval and use on the shop floor Generate Bill of Material for purchasing Define manufacturing plan to achieve profitable, on time delivery Qualifications: High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required) CNC Programming 2 and 3 axis (min. 2 years required) UG NX, SolidWorks, MasterCam experience preferred CNC machining (1 year) preferred Good communication skills Injection mold knowledge is preferred, not required Benefits: Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Short Term Disability Insurance Job Type: Full Time
