Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-level critical care to patients in a 28-bed ICU facility.
  • Collaborate with physicians and intensivists for comprehensive patient care.
  • Administer medications and IV therapies following prescribed protocols.
  • Utilize equipment such as Pyxis, Plum Pump IVs, and GE bedside monitors effectively.
  • Monitor patient health, noting changes and updating medical records via EMR Meditech.
  • Provide a positive, patient-centered approach in all activities and interactions.

Qualifications

  • Current RN licensure with at least 1 year of recent ICU experience in an acute care setting.
  • Active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
  • Experience with Meditech EMR systems preferred.
  • TNCC certification is an asset for candidates.
  • Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
  • Flexibility and a proactive team approach are essential.
